BEDFIN IS THE WRAP ALTERNATIVE
While working as a sales person for a metal fabrication shop, I decided I wanted signage for my pickup truck. I didn't want to wrap my truck, because it was my personal vehicle and wanted the option to go without advertising at times. There were other mobile billboards available, but they all required me to give something up. Either I needed to sacrifice my bed space, or I needed to sacrifice my truck's value by drilling into the body for installation. I decided these options were all unacceptable and started designing my own sign system.
Being in sales for a company with a range of services and serving a market with a variety of needs, I developed Bedfin to be flexible. I made the current design for fast change-outs of inexpensive message panels. This way I could adjust my message as needed to inform and drive action within the market. Too often folks choose permanent solutions to temporary problems. As an example, vehicle wraps are good for branding - but for the purpose of selling, a vehicle wrap is limited. Bedfin on the otherhand, gives you the ability to promote multiple products or services in a number of ways. As your market and needs change, so can you.
When we are excited about something, we have the enrgy to do just about anything. As we fall into our routine, we lose that energy and conserve it for things that demand the most from us. Those things we know we should do, but don't necessarily have to do, go by the wayside. This is why I developed Bedfin to be fast and easy to use. I knew I would get busy, and tired, and even lazy. However, to be effective, marketing should be fresh and adjust over time. Bedfin eliminates excuses and supports healthy marketing behaviors.
One of my biggest complaints about all the mobile billboards available on the market was they required the use of my bed space. I needed that bed space to do my job. So, it was either advertise to get work or do the work I had. I would not have been able to do both if I didn't design my own solution. Bedfin is comepletely out of my way so I can haul stuff. In fact, Bedfin actually helps increase my load capacity. It's like an extension of my bed's sidewalls. With the new features and accessories Bedfin has in the works, additional utility is on the way.
Today, it seems the ultimate for most companies is to squeeze every bit of profit from a product. You can see it everywhere and it comes at the expense of quality. Making products affordable is a must, or you will have no customers. And every company needs a profit. That said, a sufficient level of quality and functionality should be maintained. Bedfin is made from high quality materials and is designed with the user at the front of every decision. Yes, it could be made less expensive if it were made from plastic with steel hardware instead of aluminum with stainless hardware. However, to preserve your truck's value and to ensure your system continues to work hard for years to come, it is made with the best materials you can afford. Every other alternative will prove to be more expensive in the long term, I assure you.
Bedfin was born from a solution I found to my needs. Once I realized I solved the problem of signage for my vehicle, I knew I had something others would want. As I come up with new ideas, I don't mind investing myself into them. I wish the same enthusiasm towards innovation for everyone. We all have ideas, and if we do not explore and share them, we not only limit ourselves; we limit the world.
